A classic rivalry has returned in the game Mario vs. Donkey Kong!

The day started out normally...

Donkey Kong was trying to relax by watching TV on his couch, but suddenly, the channel aired a commercial for the latest toy craze, the Mini Mario toys, and just like that, this gorilla was convinced they should be his. The only problem? He couldn't get his hands on them! Things went from bad to worse quickly, and now he's stolen the Mini Marios straight from the toy factory. No, Donkey Kong, stealing isn't the solution!

In the game Mario vs. Donkey Kong™, Mario must jump, run, and backtrack through clever levels on his mission to retrieve the Mini Marios. If you're playing this series for the first time, you might notice the gameplay mechanics offer a puzzle twist.

Make your way through challenging platform puzzles.

While most Mario games focus on action and platforming mechanics, this title also adds a puzzle twist as you figure out the best way to progress. Not only will you face obstacles like spikes, moving platforms, and falling bricks, but you'll also need to master elements like color switches and teleporter boxes. You'll need to analyze the situation as level objectives change: from unlocking closed doors and guiding Mini Marios to safety to facing off against Donkey Kong himself (after all, the game is called Mario vs. Donkey Kong!).
