Follow the rhythm of Tetris®
You may not know the Russian folk song Korobeiniki by name, but if you've played almost any version of Tetris since 1989, you can probably hum it even in your dreams. The game and the melody are inseparable.Publicidad

En Tetris® Beat esta hermosa fusión va aún más lejos. Ahora disponible en Apple Arcade, esta nueva versión del juego clásico agrega una gran variedad de ritmos a la emoción de encajar piezas.
“We wanted to make sure we had something that everyone would like, whether they have played Tetris before, fans of rhythm games or both,” says Lawrence Clark, executive producer at developer N3TWORK.
Fans of the original Tetris can play in Marathon mode. You already know how it works: you have to drop some blocks called Tetriminos in order to fill in the gaps and complete lines.
For its part, the Drop mode proposes a very different rhythm. Here you earn points by completing lines, but also by spinning and dropping blocks to the beat of the music. Pro tip: rotate three times without missing a beat if you want to quickly build your chain of combos.
Tap mode is something else. Instead of rotating and guiding a single piece, you must choose which of the two phantom Tetriminos is going to land on your mountain of blocks. Don´t forget to touch the screen to the beat of the song!
In the world of Tetris it is very easy to keep up, especially when accompanied by EDM, pop or hip-hop. And of course, the Tetris Beat soundtrack includes a wide variety of artists.
"Women and non-binary people involved in music production are underrepresented in the dance scene," says Kathee Chimowitz, director of strategic partnerships at N3TWORK (and former promoter of raves). "Tetris Beat has given us the opportunity to bring visibility to the incredibly diverse talent that exists in this field"
The team has had artists like Alison Wonderland, Cinthie, Octo Octa or Eris Drew for the launch of the game, covering genres that range from Scandinavian pop to Latin American hip-hop.
New songs are released every month, a dream come true for Clark and Chimowitz. "We love choosing music for Tetris," confesses Chimowitz.
